This old school house is still standing. But barely. It is where the children of Helton Alanson and Cora Walker went to school.

This is the church at which Helton Alanson preached prior to leaving the area in about 1924.

Jack's Fork

This was a popular spot for the Walkers of the early 1900's. All the young "dudes" looked forward to the Fourth of July picnic held at Jack's Fork. The more daring of the dudes, wearing their flashy new silk shirts would swim their horses in the stream for the amusement of the local lasses.
